Wheeler Dealers is crackin’ GREAT. It’s a British television series that is hosted by a couple of chaps (Mike and Edd) that buy used—and most times ragged—vehicles and turn them for a small profit. The profit is not what drives the show though. Their goal is simply to get decrepit vehicles back on the road. And the show is fun to watch for the following reasons:
1) Seeing the awkward selling and buying conversations between two chaps.
2) Learning about older vehicles and how to upgrade them. The main mechanic Edd China handles all of the dirty work and does a really good job of explaining different tasks.
3) Watching the transformation of a vehicle go from bad to good (or great in some episodes).
4) K and I joke that Mike Brewer has a reversible leather jacket. One is brown and one black and they both have the exact same stripes across the shoulder and breast. Notice the photos below.

5) Thinking about how Edd China got the last name ‘China’. WTF? Where does a British chap get a name like that, for real though?

The range of Mac’s t-shirts is hilarious to me. The man is saying so much with his cloth. Mac’s shirts range from GT Japanese import parts to ironic slogans that are commonly worn by assholes on the South Street of Philly. I’ve already gone too far and have gotten way too mechanical in describing what’s going on here. So I’ll let it rest. Just be aware of the tees and get a laugh at the new ones that pop up in almost every episode. Pop your shirt off and focus. Goddamn it.
And I’m not the only one that’s noticed Mac’s ridiculous tees. Here’s a clip of Dennis talking smack about them.

There are a ton of hoodies out there. Some Gildan, some Jerzee, and then there’s the exclusive and highly sought after MacGregor brand hoodies. I’m kidding, they’re most likely only sought after by die-hard Charlie fans. I’m referring to the Cheetos-eatin’, green-unitard-wearing, law-talkin’ Charlie from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I’ll just end this quickly by saying that Charlie is a classic man that likes his ties short and his MacGregors grey. And I admire his lazy-man-who-sits-in-lazy-boys-and-eats-Cheetos type of style.

Rob Dyrdek introduced me to jargos, and if you’re not familiar, they’re the close cousin of jorts (jean shorts). Jargos are jeans with cargo pockets and Rob’s dad Gene loves ‘em. I just wanted to warn all men against wearing these. So unless you’re a camp counselor, or you’re long Faded Glory, stay away.
If you’re interested in watching the full episode of Rob mocking his dad’s jargo love, here’s a link.

Take it from Dwight, the clueless character in The Office, buy your shirts in crates and get yourself a shirt guy.

I spotted some light colored boots that looked nice on Rufus in the latest episode of GG, The Last Days of Disco Stick. Rufus is always pulling off casual — he doesn’t even try to compete with his stepson-in-law (from a former… it’s a really complicated show and everyone has slept with everyone else) Chuck Bass. The photos above suck, I realize that. I’m not trying to match the exact shoe — if you know, you can tell me though. The combo is just a good casual look. And I like what looks like a blue gingham shirt with the light colored boots. I also need some kind of excuse to talk about this article on blue gingham that I read earlier over at 10engines. Anyway, below you’ll see that I’ve rounded up what is a similar look to the one Rufus is sporting above.
