I’m a big fan of Anthony Bourdain, and the other day while watching the No Reservations Provence episode, I was captivated by the endorsements for Ricard (Anthony and his guide were drinking it at every meal.).  So much so, that I went out and bought a bottle. Maybe I’m gullible, or maybe I just listen to my elders when it comes to drinks. Here’s a snippet from the episode so you can see for yourself.
If you don’t believe Anthony, believe me. It’s lighter and tastier than ouzo with the same anise flavor. I think it’s perfect for the spring and summer. Hell, I’m drinking one now.

This is how you make a Manhattan. I’d like to try a couple of those bourbon-soaked cherries. via Hamilton 1883 blog.
