“He don’t win sh&@. He’s a good guy though…a good guy to beat up on. He ain’t no rival, $%#!%^#&@ can’t even shine my shoes.” - Myron “The King” Mixon on Paul Petersen, BBQ rival
If you don’t recognize this character, you’re obviously not watching enough television. Whatever your excuse is, his name is Myron “The King” Mixon and he’s a regular on the show BBQ Pit Masters. I’m a vegetarian and I still enjoy watching this show whenever K puts it on (K controls the TV, btw.). And I think I stay tuned to the show because of Myron’s drawl. His voice and comments will turn your head. Even if you are in a heap of code or whatever it is that occupies your time when your attention is not completely focused on the TV. The man has an attitude and is hilarious to watch. Besides traveling across the country to attend BBQ contests, he attends Kenny Rogers look-alike contest (just kidding) and he has a school in his hometown in Georgia where he teaches others to become BBQ masters.
