Because I know you like the trendy styles and you love the look of military watches, I’d like to tell you about a watch called the Ram Instruments W1003 Field Watch. You can find one at the military surplus shop around the corner for a twenty spot.

I bought one this weekend, because, well, I can buy what I want to damnit. I really like the simple look of the face but the watch band had to go. It was most likely made with a cheap nylon and it scratched the hell out of my wrist. Finding a new strap was no big deal. The watch takes a standard band width of 18mm and they have some fancy ones at J.Crew and Brooks Brothers. I decided to buy a band from both of these stores just to stay out of the house. The mis’ses was having one her days. You know—women.
